LinkedIn's service marketplace marks a HUGE turning point for LinkedIn under the wing of Microsoft, which picked up around 25 million new users in the last quarter. 
The Service Marketplace is launching with 250 job categories with plans to expand that to 500. At present, LinkedIn's freelance service marketplace is missing a lot of features that exist on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr.
