MyMatchWork Update: Job matching update

MyMatchWork
Nov 20, 2021

We have released a new update to MyMatchWork's job matching algorithm.

Job seekers will see slight improvements to their job matches based on their individual Work Profiles.

You should see the update right away on your dashboard.

How MyMatchWork's job matching works
1. Job seekers complete their free Work Profile.
This shows them 3 things:
i. Gut: What drives them to work in the first place. This could be financial needs, e.g. pay bills but also considers other factors. For example, the need to have people to connect with outside of the house. The Gut takes into account that life circumstances can be fluid. At one point in life, financial needs may be the primary driver. In another stage of life, the social aspects of work may be more important.
ii. Head (Skills): What unique value they can offer an employer.
iii. Heart: What their ideal work environment is. These tend to stay relatively the same throughout one's work life.

2. MyMatchWork's platform takes their Work Profile and scans currently open job opportunities in their region. Our platform then determines which jobs may be a good fit, based on their individual Work Profile. Each job has a relative score of how likely it is to be a fit for each person:

Notes:
1. Unlike a job board, MyMatchWork only focuses on currently available jobs most likely to meet the needs of that individual.
2. The jobs matches change daily, based on which jobs have been posted. Jobs filled or which rank lower than previous matches will drop down the list or be removed.
