Hidden Rivers End-of-Summer Sunset Picnic
It's been an immense privilege to see the city with all of you this summer. Let's celebrate together with a sunset picnic at Riverdale Park!
I am always amazed by the people who come on my tours: Deeply curious, eager to explore, incredibly warm and friendly. This picnic is a chance for you to all meet each other, without me wrangling you through traffic. Plus there's an ice cream truck. Bring your own blankets & snacks.
Living in Toronto can be alienating and isolating. I hope that together we can build a sense of rootedness in our city. By understanding its past and feeling grounded in its present, we can feel a sense of collective accountability over its future. And did I mention the ice cream truck?!
This picnic will coincide with my final tour of the summer, which ends at 6pm at Riverdale Park. We will meet at the top of the slope, near the benches on Broadview.
