Internet Governance Forum Information Briefing
The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) is a United Nations (UN) platform for multi-stakeholder dialogue on public policy issues related to the Internet. It brings together governments, the private sector, civil society, the technical community, and international organizations to discuss and address key elements of Internet governance. The IGF facilitates discussions, shares best practices, and promotes the development of public policy principles to ensure a sustainable, robust, secure, and stable Internet. This information briefing is to introduce the IGF to a Hawaii audience and help elevate voices of the Pacific in achieving the goals of the IGF. Speakers will include representatives from the IGF Secretariat in Geneva.
