​Who the heck is Harley?

​Harley Finkelstein is a Canadian entrepreneur, lawyer, and the President of Shopify, a leading global e-commerce platform. Born in Montreal, he launched his first business at 17 while studying at McGill University. After earning a JD/MBA from the University of Ottawa, he joined Shopify in 2010, initially as Chief Platform Officer, and became President in 2020. Finkelstein is passionate about empowering entrepreneurs and has been instrumental in Shopify's growth. Beyond his corporate role, he's an advisor to venture firms, a former board member of the CBC, and co-founder of Firebelly Tea. His journey reflects a commitment to innovation, mentorship, and community buil.
