Helping nonprofits smartly put AI to work

Presented in partnership with Microsoft and NYS Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes, this free event is designed to help Western New York nonprofits harness the power of AI to boost efficiency, unlock more capacity and drive greater impact for the communities you serve.

  • How to activate AI using free and low-cost tech tools already available to you

  • Ways to integrate free Microsoft products into daily workflows to save time and resources

  • Real-world nonprofit success stories that show what’s possible

Keynote speaker Dr. Kenneth Joseph is an associate professor of computer science and engineering at the University at Buffalo, where he also serves as associate director for AI and society at UB’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Additionally, he leads the cUBelab, where the team uses machine learning, natural language processing and simulations to examine societal inequities, misinformation and the cultural impacts of technology.

TechConnect 2025 is more than a learning opportunity for nonprofits, it’s a launchpad. Walk away with practical knowledge, new connections and the confidence to lead your organization through this next wave of innovation.
