"One region (Lisbon), three different terroirs, at least three different sensations... our secret to producing wines with an identity is the time and effort we put into the micro-terroirs every day. Producing distinctive wines is not an easy or immediate task.
We had to travel a long way, learn from the experience of past generations and create new experiences that would allow us to find the answers to the wines we wanted to produce. Experiment, experiment... to get to know the vineyards in detail. I believe that only in this way, armed with a true and in-depth knowledge of each plot of vines and the most appropriate techniques for transforming grapes into wine, can I offer wines that express their identity and that could only be produced with grapes from the family vineyards and in a single place: Adega Garrocha, at Quinta do Garrido."
