INIT Launch Event

​We're incredibly excited to announce the official launch of INIT in South Florida! 

​To celebrate, we're hosting our official INIT Launch Event on Tuesday, May 9th from 6:30 - 9 pm at Bay 13 Brewery in Coral Gables - and you're invited!

​At our Launch Event, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our organization, our plans to empower local tech talent, and the team behind it all. You'll also get a chance to network with fellow guests, including community leaders, industry professionals, college students, and more - all while you enjoy some light bites and drinks on us!

​INIT is a non-profit organization empowering under-represented communities to launch successful careers in technology. We establish INIT chapters at schools, colleges, and municipalities, providing free experiential learning and career development programs for everyone. We also partner with employers to foster a diverse talent pipeline into the tech industry, closing the talent gap and helping low-income families achieve economic mobility. INIT is supported by the Knight Foundation, Lab22c, FIU, MDC, and FMU, and is fiscally sponsored by The Miami Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.
