Understanding the Experience of Alzheimer's
Join us for a webinar on the Jewish experience of Alzheimer's from one who is going through it, Wally Klatch. This webinar is designed for anyone who is interested in learning more about Jewish death practices: Jews and those who love them as well as professionals that might be in the role of supporting Jewish families at the end of life.
Wally Klatch
Wally Klatch got his master’s degree in management from Purdue University and pursued a career as a Management Consultant. He describes his work as dealing primarily with “lines and boxes,” making the transition to the feelings-based world of early-stage Dementia even more stark. Wally lived for 30 years in a village outside of Jerusalem. In addition to working and raising four children, he very much enjoyed folk dancing. He was diagnosed with early-stage Dementia in 2022. After a difficult period of coming to terms with this reality, he has presented in various forums with the objective of raising awareness and encouraging conversations about Alzheimer’s Dementia.
The slide deck and speaker notes from this webinar will be available to attendees.
