Panelists

Keisha Bryan
Keisha H. Bryan, LCSW, LCAS, is a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience, and was recently awarded a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from Cornell University. She is an expert in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy as well as the Intimacy From The Inside Out (IFIO) therapy modality, and provides a supportive environment for clients to explore their inner thoughts and beliefs. 

Karen Burkes
Karen Burkes is a strategy and operations leader with experience in federal and state government, nonprofit, and education. Currently, she is the Director of the State Operated Healthcare Facilities within the NC Department of Health and Human Services, overseeing the statewide health system for individuals with complex behavioral and medical needs. She is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor.

Dr. Terrance Ruth
Dr. Ruth is an advocate for public education, Professor at North Carolina State University, and candidate for Raleigh mayor. In addition to leading a coalition to increase the use of faith-based assets in improving affordable housing, he is deeply engaged in diversity, equity, and inclusion work across the Triangle, previously serving as the NC NAACP Executive Director.

Dr. T. Fulya Eyupoglu (Mindfulness Facilitator)
Dr. T. Fulya Eyupoglu is an educator with a specialty in game-based learning and educational psychology. Driven by a passion for learning and personal growth, Dr. Eyupoglu serves as certified Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher (CMSC), she offers workshops and courses to help others develop acceptance and self-compassion. In addition to holding a Ph.D. in instructional design from North Carolina State University, she is trained in techniques such as breathwork and shamanic healing.
