Language of Liberation: The Locus of Love

​The Language of Liberation Open Mic Series is a space for writers, artists, organizers, and anyone looking to find a means of expression, connection, and reflection as we imagine and build toward collective liberation for the oppressed masses of the globe.

​From exploring the many languages of love in liberation to honoring the many languages of the lands we descend from, this open mic series will allow us all to gather and share our feelings, memories, and visions as we continue on this journey towards collective liberation. We hope this series will help ground and sustain your liberatory spirit and practice throughout the next year and beyond.

​We will be partnering with the Shut it Down For Palestine Coalition’s Central Brooklyn Contingent for an art sale in support of the Middle Eastern Children's Alliance (MECA).

​Our first event, Language of Liberation: The Locus of Love, will serve to explore the meaning of radical love as it relates to ourselves, our friendships, our romantic partnerships, and our communities.
