About our Speaker:
Introducing Oluwadara Adedeji, our esteemed speaker for "AI in Healthcare: Opportunities and Requirements". He is a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Expert with experience across AI research and real-world healthcare applications. A PhD student at SFI Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning and the University College Dublin, Ireland, where his research focuses on using financial data and privacy-preserving machine learning to assess mental health, particularly for people with bipolar disorder.
Oluwadara is driven by bringing real-world machine learning solutions to users. He holds a First Class degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master's in Engineering Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University Africa.
As an AI scientist, Oluwadara has tackled advanced machine learning challenges, and works on mental health research at Health Rhythms. His commitment to societal impact is evident in his volunteer work advocating for mental health, STEM education, and community development.
