After four years developing machine learning algorithms at Stripe, Mike joined OpenAI to work on Applied Research. He is one of the 16 people credited for the discovery of GPT4's novel capabilities and was on the small team that delivered the fastest-growing consumer product of all time - ChatGPT.

Mike’s going to share what it was like to be in the eye of the biggest product storm in history. How it felt to be growing at 1.6 million users a day and what it was like to go from being effectively unknown, to covering every newspaper, and being talked about in every bar in the English speaking world.

This won't just be a battle story though. We’ll also get into the underlying AI - how to use it, how to build on it and how to get the best from it. And we'll also discuss what AI technology we might expect come out of Silicon Valley during the next year.

Doors open: 3:30pm
Interview & questions: 4-5:30pm
Networking: 5:30-7pm
Venue: Central London Location (TBC depending on numbers)
