Careers in Food Policy
Are you interested in exploring a career in food policy? This event is open to undergraduates, graduate students, and postdocs across all schools here at Tufts. We'll hear from the executive director of Food Policy Pathways, a nonprofit which provides mentorship and free career preparation (networking, skill-building, etc.). Free food for attendees :)
Joining us will be Rachel Atcheson, who previously worked in various New York City government roles, including as Deputy Director of the NYC Mayor’s Office of Food Policy, Special Advisor to the Chief of Staff, and Deputy Strategist for the Brooklyn Borough President’s Office, where she spearheaded initiatives such as citywide nutrition programs and public health campaigns to strengthen food policy.
Rachel has been involved in the alternative protein space for many years now, so if you are a member of TUCCA or the Alt Protein Project on or about to join the job market, this event might be especially fruitful for you.
