Imran Chagpar
I’ve had the privilege of working with two dynamic early stage companies, one backed by venture capital and the other by private equity:
At By Miles, a VC-backed InsurTech startup:
I built and led the Finance, People, Operations, and Compliance functions, helping the company scale from 12 to 80 employees.
I raised £20 million in equity and debt funding.
Together with the CEO, I was the business lead during the acquisition by FTSE 250 company Direct Line Group (DLG).
Post-acquisition, I was responsible for integrating By Miles with DLG, and also led the Customer Experience function.
Currently, I work as a Fractional CFO, partnering with early-stage businesses to support them through optimising their financial operations, fundraising and sustainable growth.
I’m excited to share my experiences and insights to help you gain the skills needed to drive business success! 🚀
