Theme: Leveraging Mentorship Through Career Hurdles
On Wednesday, June 12th, The Black Women in Computational Biology Network and Boston-area Women in Bioinformatics will co-host a fireside chat and social. The event's first half will feature a panel of industry scientists at various career stages sharing experiences and insights into using the power of mentorship when leveraging challenges as women in compbio/bioinformatics.
🍛🥂The fireside chat will be followed by a social reception with delicious food and a chance for attendees to mingle/network in person. This event is open to all who identify as women in compbio and bioinformatics.
Come as you are, and be ready to build connections with other amazing women in our field!

Space is limited for this event, and we are currently at capacity. There will be a waitlist after spots fill. You will be notified before the event if you're on the list and a spot opens for you.
This event takes place after Day 1 of the Festival of Genomics and Biodata in Boston. It's a short 20-minute drive or ~30-minute transit commute from BCEB on Summer Street.
