Progress | Mediums | 墨子
Progress | Mediums | 墨子 is a lecture from the Toronto Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge presented by Fractal University.
What exactly changed in the 1600s to lead to the explosion in economic growth, science and technology, political freedom, and social well being of the last few hundred years?
Is this progress still going? If we have entered an era of stagnation what could be the cause? And most importantly what could we do to get out?
This lecture will offer at least one answer to all these questions. If you care about what it would take to make our societies better you don't want to miss it.
After the lecture we will be hosting a social hour with food, drink, and fine company. There will be music, good vibes, and deep conversation. We'll try to learn from each other and build up our ideas. Who knows maybe there will be dancing? No matter what it's going to be good time.
We hope you will be able to join us.
