About the Speaker
Shilbee Dhalla-Kim is a passion coach who supports changemakers in clarifying their passions to better realize their current purpose. In addition to her coaching practice, she is a facilitator with Neolé Inc. and an instructor at McMaster University. From cultivating passions to designing visioning sessions, facilitating strategic planning workshops, developing business plans, and managing social enterprise expansion, Shilbee has first-hand experience guiding purpose-driven organizations. She uses anti-oppressive, intersectional approaches to help individuals and organizations understand their power, agency, and privileges within the context of structural, interpersonal, ideological, and internalized barriers. She has previously served as the social enterprise manager at the Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto, the manager at the Centre for Social Innovation in Regent Park, and the workstream manager of Entrepreneurship Policy at what was formerly known as the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship.
