About Event

Take a journey through life’s lessons, one cup at a time. Inspired by the ancient wisdom of the Three-Course Tea Ceremony, a traditional Chinese tea ritual practiced by the Bai people of Yunnan Province, this workshop invites you to reflect, release, and renew as we sip through the symbolic stages of life:

  • The First Cup – Bitter Tea: Embrace life’s challenges and uncover their hidden lessons.

  • The Second Cup – Sweet Tea: Transform struggle into gratitude and savor the sweetness of growth.

  • The Third Cup – Spicy Tea: Reflect on life’s richness and create a vision for your future.

Rooted in Bai culture, the Three-Course Tea Ceremony is more than a way of drinking tea—it is a profound ritual that symbolizes the journey of life, blending mindfulness, cultural wisdom, and introspection. Guided by Shanshan and Harry, this 90-minute online event is designed to help you let go of what no longer serves you and rediscover inner balance.

What to Expect:

  • Three-Course Tea Ceremony: A step-by-step guided experience that connects the cultural symbolism of the three teas to your personal journey.

  • Meditation for Renewal: Harry will lead a calming meditation to help you integrate insights and release emotional tension.

  • Community Connection: Engage with like-minded individuals in meaningful discussions and reflections.

  • Exclusive Sneak Peek: Learn about the upcoming Homecoming Retreat in April, featuring cultural immersion and mindfulness practices that deepen the themes explored in this workshop.

What You’ll Need:

  • A quiet space to relax and reflect.

  • A warm beverage of your choice:

    • Tea is recommended to honor the ceremony’s roots. Suggested options include green tea, black tea, or herbal tea.

    • Ingredients needed to reflect the stages of the tea ceremony: bitter, honey/agave, and spices (like cinnamon or ginger)

    • Alternatives for Tea: Coffee, hot water, or any warm beverage you enjoy.

  • A journal and pen for personal reflection exercises.
