What is Flourishing?
Lunch & Learn: What is Flourishing?
Hosted by Compassion 2.0 + The Flourishing Systems Foundation
In this 90-minute interactive Lunch & Learn, we’ll explore the foundational question: What is Flourishing? Drawing from the work of Compassion 2.0 and the Flourishing Systems Foundation, this session introduces flourishing as more than individual well-being—it is a systems-level condition that can be designed, measured, and cultivated across organizations, communities, and economies. We’ll explore how flourishing shows up biologically (through nervous system regulation and resonance), culturally (through belonging, care, and values-alignment), and structurally (through processes that create psychological safety, agency, and long-term value).
Through a mix of short talks, group dialogue, and reflective prompts, participants will engage in a shared inquiry into what flourishing means for them and their teams. We’ll touch on key frameworks such as the ROI of Care, the Z-Axis model of resonance, and emerging tools to assess and support flourishing at scale. This session is ideal for builders, innovators, practitioners, and changemakers seeking to reconnect their work to a deeper purpose—and to explore how care can become a core design and measurement principle for flourishing systems.
