​​YSpace is York University’s pan-university entrepreneurship and innovation hub supporting startups and entrepreneurs from a variety of sectors and communities. Our programming spans across scaling innovative technologies through customer and investor capital to scaling agri-food businesses into mass retail to diversity focused initiatives like ELLA for women-led businesses and BEA for Black-led businesses.

​​​City of Markham is Canada’s High Tech Capital. We are home to a robust technology and innovation ecosystem, made up of 1500+ technology companies that generate 37,000 jobs.  Markham is York Region’s innovation hotbed and at the centre of Ontario’s technology corridor. Global technology leaders and emerging technology innovators have made Markham their home to create the latest software and hardware to support industry sectors including: ICT, healthcare, medical devices, finance and insurance, software engineering, gaming, advanced manufacturing and autonomous vehicles, to name a few.
