​Who we are?

​Wavemaker Impact (“WMi”) is Southeast Asia’s leading climate-tech venture build fund, part of Wavemaker Partners. Launched in 2021, Wavemaker Impact co-founds sustainability startups with proven entrepreneurs, with the goal of building a portfolio of companies by 2035 that has the potential to reduce 10% of the global carbon budget. Every startup that Wavemaker Impact builds is a ‘100x100’ company — with the potential to abate 100 million metric tonnes of CO2e and generate US$100 million in revenue per year. 

​Under its US$60 million debut fund, WMi co-built 16 portfolio companies across 9 countries targeting the biggest drivers of emissions such as agriculture, energy, industrial processes, built environment, and transport. In 2025, as a continuation of its mission, WMi is now expanding into India in 2025 to partner with highly driven founders and build the next wave of transformative climate tech startups.

​What is Sustainability Mafia?

​The Sustainability Mafia (SusMafia) is a leading non-profit (Section 8 company) climate founder-focused community of sustainability entrepreneurs with a vision to 'make sustainability the default choice' by 'multiplying the impact of sustainability founders through goal-oriented collaborations'. We are 75+ leading entrepreneurs (who we call "Mafiosos") all in on climate action forever, united by a core shared value of Give more than you Get.
