Notes:
This event is independently organized by Thryve.Earth and is not part of the official Carbon Unbound programming. However, we’ll finish in time for a short 10-minute walk to the Carbon Unbound venue.
At Thryve.Earth we are developing community-centric NbS carbon removal projects with a deeply place-based approach. Our projects are in India, Indonesia, and Brazil. The Thryve team is purpose-driven and operationally experienced, with a strong advisory capacity that includes veterans in the 'nature' domain with two Ashoka fellows onboard. We are critical thinkers, carbon specialists, scientists, foresters, biodiversity specialists, product leaders, and engineers. Underneath that, we are nature lovers and lifelong learners. We use technology where relevant to support and enable such project development and bring high integrity to the entire project development journey.
About the Rooftop Garden: Located atop the Salesforce Transit Center, this 5.4-acre urban oasis offers a sanctuary for reflection. Among other things, the center is a biodiversity haven supporting a wider variety of species, a natural carbon capture, and air filtration system, all aided by wonderful stormwater management innovation
