Village Global is a pre-seed and seed-stage venture capital firm backed by some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs. Village Global has an active scout program with angels, and has backed many emerging fund managers and founders from the On Deck community.
Come meet other angels and investors, and our featured speaker will be ODA member Anand Chandrasekaran — a fund manager, angel, and operator. Anand was recently the Executive VP at Five9, a cloud contact center with a $10B market cap, and a board member at Future Group India. At Facebook, he oversaw its Messenger software developer ecosystem, which upon his departure had 300,000 active bots with eight billion messages exchanged between business and consumers. Before that, he was CPO at Snapdeal (one of India’s largest e-commerce companies with current annual gross sales exceeding $9 billion) and Bharti Airtel (one of the world’s largest mobile network operators with almost 300 million subscribers). He recently launched and raised a fund to continue backing great companies in India & beyond.
