6.30pm: Panel conversation with Michael Kadonoff, Dipesh Mistry, Kathrin Bussmann, and you - the audience! You read that right; the speakers designed an engaging-style panel conversation that invited the audience to contribute their inputs and ideas.
About Michael:
A category creating climate-tech entrepreneur with over 15 years of deep experience building & leading high tech. energy, IoT and Ag. Tech businesses - from startup to go-public.
Michael has been focused on energy & resource efficiency, agriculture and how technology can be used to improve outcomes therein. His work within predictive machine learning algorithms for cultivation optimization at Braingrid and now, supporting the rollout of Khepra's novel bio-based products that improve the soil biome and nutrient use efficiency, Michael continues his passion for technology and environmental prosperity as a way to rally policy makers and the agricultural communities, to adopt regenerative agricultural practices.
About Dipesh:
Dipesh is currently the COO at Vayda, a regenerative farming startup, where he has been since its inception in 2020. Based in Toronto, Dipesh has worked across Canada, the US, and the UK. Prior to getting into climate tech, Dipesh helped build and launch new ventures for Koru, a venture studio, and BCG Digital Ventures. He spent several years at the Boston Consulting Group working with Fortune 500 companies on a variety of strategic topics. Dipesh graduated from Queen’s University and has spent time studying at the HEC School of Management in Paris.
About Kathrin:
Kathrin Bussmann is an international marketing consultant and podcaster, whose mission is to help Cleantech companies scale across languages, cultures and borders. Through her independent consultancy, Verbaccino, she works at the intersection of global business, international marketing, and localization. Her focus is on helping growth-stage companies optimize their marketing & comms strategy for international expansion, and facilitating their partnership with specialized service providers who can implement the strategy. Besides running her own consultancy, Kathrin serves as a Volunteer Advisor at MaRS Discovery District and at Foresight Canada.
