Speaker: June Yang, Seasoned Technology and Business Executive; Former VP of Google Cloud AI and Industry Solutions and VP of VMware Product Management and Engineering
June is a seasoned technology and business executive with a proven track record of building successful products, developing high-performing teams, and scaling businesses. June currently serves on the board of UiPath, SRS Distribution and Cradles to Crayons. Most recently, she was the Vice President of Cloud AI and Industry Solutions at Google Cloud, where she was responsible for the entire portfolio of AI products and services. Prior to that, she was the Vice President & General Manager for Compute, AI infrastructure and Block storage at Google Cloud, where she managed a multi-billion dollar P&L and a broad cloud computing and storage services portfolio.
Before that, June served as Vice President of Product Management and Engineering at VMware, where she was responsible for vSphere, VMware's flagship product with multi-billion dollar revenue. Earlier in her career, she held various leadership positions in high tech, strategic consulting, and investment management.
June holds an M.S. from Stanford Graduate School of Business, an M.S. from UC Berkeley, and a B.S. from Caltech.

Alan Ren has twenty-plus years of technology, start-up & investment experiences. He has held leadership or engineering roles as CTO/GM or lead architect at Broadcom/VMware, Sun, IBM, and as founder/CEO at his own start-up. He has also advised and invested in start-up’s and VC funds in the US and China for more than a decade.
Alan is currently a Senior Advisor and Investor at Sand Hill Angels in the Silicon Valley, focusing on Enterprise, Consumer & Life Sciences tech start-up’s & VC funds.
Alan was formerly the Global Head of AI Engineering & Ecosystems in the US and CTO/GM of China R&D at Broadcom/VMware. His team created Innovation Projects in AI/ML, Cloud & Edge Native, Crypto & Blockchain, including Harbor for Containers, FATE for Federated ML, Hyperleger for Blockchain, Greenplum for Data Lake, etc. He was the co- founder of the ACE Co-innovation Ecosystem (ACE) community program and the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) function in China. Alan serves for the non-profit organizations below: Member of the Advisory Council, HYSTA (Hua Yuan Science & Technology Association), US Member of Development Advisory Board, UM-SJTU Joint Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
Alan has a Master's Degree in EECS from University of Michigan, an EMBA from Rutgers University, and Bachelor's degree in EE from Cooper Union.
