About Event

Join us at BETA Technologies for our second meetup of the year! Our focus for this event is on the electrification of vehicles.

​​We'll have food and drink and there will be a chance for an open mic. All demos are welcome.

Speakers:

  • Andrew Giroux joined Beta when it was only 30 engineers working on a pipeline dream, he has since seen the company through a global pandemic, nearly $800 million in capital funding, and grow to over 700 employees. Andrew has been instrumental in both the initial builds of our two proof of concept aircrafts that have been flying for the past 4 years, but also the future design of our production aircraft that we will be delivering to customers around the world. He is the technical and team lead for all things electronics on the aircraft, including low voltage systems, DC to DC converters and all the harnessing across the vehicle.

  • Paul Shepherd is an Electrical Engineer and Entrepreneur living in Burlington, VT. He has spent his career at the intersection of semiconductors, energy processing, hardware development, and education. In 2023, he founded Rugged MicroPower to solve problems in power management for extreme environments.
