p.s. You don't have to be a professional designer to join! While the stories and questions will revolve around the professional design & innovation world, they will also be relevant for related fields (marketing, product management, engineering, etc).
What to Expect
This event will be divided into two parts (30 minutes each). You'll get a recording and a copy of the chat if you can't attend live!
Part 1: Storytelling & Lessons Learned
Sandra Camacho (She/Her), founder of Design Changemakers, will share stories of her 15-year career journey, half spent in the tech sector and the other half as an independent design practitioner in the social justice space.
You’ll hear how she’s woven her learnings into her design changemaking methodology — and celebrate the launch of her heart-led learning immersion, The Grove: Foundations of Design Changemaking 🥳
Part Two: Q&A and Group Discussion
Bring questions that you’re currently grappling with about career shifts, values alignment, and designing for systemic change. Sandra will offer her perspective, and your peers will be invited to share insights and experiences (giving you a chance to connect with others on similar career journeys!).
