​​id8 is a community designed to give young people the social permission, accountability, and inspiration needed to dedicate serious time and effort to startups and personal projects they really care about at weekly 3-hour coworking sessions. 

​​​too many awesome people at Queen's don't know each other. we are bringing the coolest people at Queen's together and allowing them to make friends with each other!

we want to build an inclusive community that helps people to become the best versions of themselves.

​​anyone from any background/major/year can join us at our second-ever coworking session. You can work on ANYTHING (except school related stuff) - this includes coding an app, writing short stories, launching a startup, creating a short film, drawing a sketch, designing a notion template, devising a plan to take over the world, and everything in between!

come alone or come with a friend, either way we guarantee you'll meet awesome people and have a great time.

How it's gonna work (roughly):

​​​1PM to 1:30PM - enjoy some refreshments (on us), mingle, and introductions!

​​​1:30PM to 2:25PM - workblock 1 (focus time - mostly silent)

​​​2:25PM to 2:35PM - break! Talk to people, learn about other projects, do a little dance

​​​2:35PM to 3:30PM - workblock 2 (this one is meant to be a little more social but the goal is to still make good progress)

​​​3:30PM to 3:55PM - demos! Will aim to have 5 demos each 5 minutes long. It's a chance for some people to share what they're working on <3

​​​3:55PM to 4PM - sharing some wins and parting announcements
