About the CoMotion Labs Climate Tech Incubator
CoMotion Labs, part of CoMotion, serves as a multi-industry incubator for early-stage startups in the greater Seattle area, as well as the UW community. By providing essential infrastructure and opportunities for learning, mentoring, and networking, CoMotion Labs nurtures and enables success.
The Climate Tech Incubator, located at the Seattle Climate Innovation Hub, is an eight-month cohort-based program supporting startups tackling the climate crisis and promoting green technology growth. It is funded in partnership with the Seattle Office of Economic Development and co-located with our partners 9Zero and VertueLab.

Climate computing
Mobility
Industry & manufacturing
Built environment
Agriculture
Carbon capture & storage
Maritime and ports
Key program dates:
Sunday, April 20: Application deadline
Late April-early May: Judging panel review
May: Teams notified of decision
July 1: Program begins
February 2026: Program graduation

We believe that the right mentor, at the right time, can have tremendous impact for a team translating a discovery from the lab to the market.
