About Nadège Fleurimond
Nadège Fleurimond is a celebrated author and culinary adventurer, renowned for her exploration of Haitian cuisine and culture. Her seminal work, Haiti Uncovered: A Regional Adventure Into the Art of Haitian Cuisine, was first published in 2014 and updated in 2024. She also leads the Haiti Uncovered Culinary Tour, offering an immersive journey through Haiti’s rich culture and cuisine. In 2020, Nadège released Taste of Solitude: A Culinary Journal, a deeply personal reflection on self-discovery during the pandemic lockdown.
Beyond her writing, Nadège is a dynamic entrepreneur. She co-owns Fêtes de Fleur, an event rental space, and BunNan, a restaurant that celebrates plantains while fostering cultural connections. Recently, she launched Fleur D’Epis: The Everything Seasoning, a versatile spice blend that highlights her innovative approach to food.
Nadège has appeared on Food Network’s Chopped and HBO’s The Big Brunch and has been profiled in Epicurious, Food & Wine Magazine, and Condé Nast Traveler. Her catering company, Fleurimond Catering, is one of the exclusive caterers serving The Times Center in New York City.
A proud graduate of Columbia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science, Nadège continues to champion Haitian heritage through food, storytelling, and entrepreneurial ventures.
