On top of suffering a devastating natural disaster, citizens of Myanmar also face military corruption hindering relief efforts. Reports show that less than 30% of international aid reaches those in need.
This meetup will explore why effective aid is critical for the region’s recovery. We’ll discuss the importance of aid using permissionless forms of payment such as Bitcoin and grassroots movements in bypassing obstacles and delivering direct support.
