Sebastian & I warmly invite you to our art x science event.

They say ideas have a life of their own. We'll be discovering just how true that is as we explore the propagation of information and other signals through networks, both neuronal and interpersonal; through a sequence of collaborative drawing activities.

The night will follow a guided flow. We’ll start with some introductions and icebreakers, followed by a short overview of signal transmission, neuron function, and networks. From there we’ll launch into a sequence of immersive collaborative drawing activities which will be interspersed with opportunities to chat, share, and reflect.

Themes we may touch upon and explore include (but are not limited to!):
- Information and memory
- Signal propagation and noise
- Networks
- Neurons
- Interconnectedness
- Chaos and complexity
- Fractals and feedback loops

Minimal requirement for this event: 1) these concepts intrigue you, and 2) you find enjoyment in doodling in some capacity. These activities are meant to be super low-floor, high-ceiling; all levels of skill and experience with drawing are welcome!

It's also important we're all in sync through the event, so we are planning to close doors around ~7:45pm. Feel free to swing by as early as 7pm.

You are welcome to bring some snacks and/or drinks to enjoy together! We suggest eating dinner beforehand. Art supplies will be provided
