For our next GenJam, we’re working with our friends at Echobend to throw you into the arena with nothing but your imagination and a handful of weird, seemingly unrelated objects. Your mission: invent a new sport from scratch—and show us how it works. Think: a broom, a hoop, and a golden ball with wings. Never heard of Quidditch? Exactly.

​Craft the rules. Design the chaos. And bring it all to life in a short promo, highlight reel, or fever-dream recap. Whether it’s Olympic-grade absurdity or a cult underground phenomenon, we want to feel the hype.

​What You’ll Do

​💡 Brainstorm & Conceptualize

​Start with a few random objects, a few questionable ideas, and zero rules.
Invent a sport no one’s ever heard of—but will definitely have strong opinions about.
Use AI tools to develop gameplay, uniforms, team names, and dubious lore.

​🎥 Make It Real

​Bring your sport to life using generative video tools, voice AI, and music synthesis.
Whether it’s a gritty ESPN-style doc, a late-night hype reel, or a recruitment video for “Team Gloop,” this is your moment to show us how it’s played—and why it matters (or doesn’t).
