​The Regional HIMS Conference serves as a strategic platform to advance Region 6’s HIMS industry, fostering collaboration, investment attraction, and talent readiness. By implementing this strategy, Western Visayas is positioned to become a premier destination for healthcare information management services, significantly contributing to the IT-BPM growth agenda and nurturing the possible development of our local health systems.

​The two-day activity will cover panel discussions from government leaders and industry experts from the health sector delving into the topics 1) The Future of the HIMS Industry, 2) Panel Discussions on Branding and Promotions, Industry Relations, Talent Development and Infrastructure; 3) Strategies for Digital Inclusion, 3) Cybersecurity and AI on Healthcare Systems; and 4) LGU Best Practices on Strengthening Healthcare. A HIMS Industry Showcase will be held on Day 2 where the invited HIMS industry leaders will give orientations, targeting on the students, about their services. Additionally, career opportunity booths related to healthcare information management will be set up alongside the event.
