About the organizer:

Nomadic Venture Partners is a 100% minority-owned venture capital firm that invests in pre-seed to Series A climate tech companies accelerating decarbonization through innovations in the natural resources, manufacturing, and transportation sectors. 

Founded by seasoned, institutionally-trained fund investors Tem Tumurbat and Batchimeg Ganbaatar, NVP leverages its exceptional track record, wide network, and broad VC ecosystem to provide its limited partners diversified exposure to cutting-edge tech companies working on solving the biggest challenge of our time. 


Presenter:

Tem Tumurbat is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Nomadic Venture Partners. Prior to co-founding NVP, Tem was an investment professional at Resource Capital Funds (RCF), a mining focused private equity investment firm, managing early to late stage investments. As a mining engineer, Tem worked for Newmont Mining Corporation and AngloGold Ashanti. He served as board member and treasurer of the Colorado Chapter for the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). Tem received his B.S. in Mining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.


Guest Speaker:

Jeff Prosserman is the Founder and CEO of Voltpost, where he directs product and company development with a mission to decarbonize mobility by democratizing charging access. He is a business and product management executive focused on strategy, design, and innovation. Expertise spans electric vehicle charging, mobile, TV, XR, IoT, and sustainability. As the former Samsung Director of Innovation, Jeff led a cross-functional team to develop mobile, TV, and digital appliance platforms at the intersection of trends and technology. Some products that he led development for include Samsung Podcasts, Family Hub, and first Samsung mobile AR camera apps. Prior to Samsung, Jeff was senior producer at The Daily, the first mobile publication at News Corp. Over his career, he produced projects with WarnerMedia, IBM, BBC Worldwide, Dell, Mashable, Giphy, Johnson & Johnson, and many other brands. Jeff received his master's in Sustainability Management at the Columbia Climate School. Jeff is charging forward to make a positive impact for his son and the next generation.


Moderator:

​Batchimeg Ganbaatar is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Nomadic Venture Partners. Prior to NVP, Batchimeg led a successful career in marketing building brand, launching products, and expanding to global markets on behalf of brands including Airbnb, Allstate, Boeing, KraftHeinz, and Twitter. She co-founded a FinTech startup in MENA and energy efficiency startup as well as worked with Lofty Ventures and Gen 1 Capital by providing advice and counsel to portfolio companies. She received her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
