Speakers

Ronke Ayoola
Ronke is a community organiser, facilitator, public speaker, and founder and advocate for youth-led initiatives. She has conducted training sessions worldwide from the classroom to the boardroom, focusing on effective communication and transformative thinking. Ronke has a Masters degree in International Development from across Tokyo and Barcelona universities, and has a passion for all things nature and food sustainability.

Dr Sally Le Page
Sally is a presenter and science audio and video producer. She has made videos and documentaries all over the world, from discussing climate resilience while scuba diving over a Polynesian coral reef to explaining new bioplastics technology in Finland. Sally presented and produced BBC 5 Live Science and more recently was the host of the award-winning Hormones: The Inside Story and Genetics Unzipped podcasts. Sally has a PhD in evolutionary biology and behavioural ecology from the University of Oxford, and loves talking about nature with her typical infectious enthusiasm.

Dr Charlie Gardner
Charlie is an expert conservationist. He has advised numerous NGOs, including WWF, written for The Guardian, The Conversation and many others, and also co-wrote the UK’s Climate & Nature Bill. Charlie has a wealth of knowledge which he'll be sharing with us in this session's Q&A, from complex science through to politics and communication.
