The Indie Book Lab: Just Enough - Book Marketing That Feels Right
Marketing your book doesn’t have to feel like selling your soul or shouting into the void. In this session of The Indie Book Lab, Karolina Wudniak will interview Amanda Laird, founder of Slow & Steady Studio and author of Heavy Flow: Breaking the Curse of Menstruation, to explore a more grounded, values-aligned approach to book marketing.
Drawing on 20 years of experience in marketing communications and her work as a business advisor, Amanda has developed the Just Enough framework, which can be used by purpose-driven authors to market their books without burnout, pressure, or pretending to be someone they’re not.
Together, we’ll look at:
· The different stages of a book launch and how to recognize where you are
· What “Just Enough” looks like at each phase of your publishing journey
· How to align your marketing actions with your deeper “why” for writing the book
This interactive session will offer clear, encouraging guidance for promoting your book in a way that feels natural and sustainable-because you don’t need to do everything to make an impact. You can do Just Enough.
There is no cost to attend and a replay will be shared with all registered attendees.
