​SYNOPSIS

​"Everything Else Matters: Deconstructing Psychedelic Experience" is a one-hour deep dive into the inner workings of psychedelic journeys. The film combines learnings from neuroscience, psychiatry, and anthropology about key aspects of psychedelic experiences. It uncovers how psychedelics may unlock critical brain periods, how these substances can deconstruct perceived reality, and the way the right beliefs and little expectations influence the healing process.
The documentary serves as both an exploration and a practical guide, addressing major factors influencing safety and benefit of psychedelics like set and setting and the role of facilitators. It unites insights from brain scientists, psychotherapists, and shamans, revealing shared perspectives on psychedelic experience across these different realms.
