About Event

Join us for a panel discussion with Mindaugas, Jane, David, Jess and friends as they share about their career journeys from employee to founder. In this intimate setting, they will share insights into the challenges, decisions, and experiences that shaped their career progressions and lives to this point. Gain practical perspectives on entrepreneurship and leadership in a candid conversation around the realities of building a company from the ground up.

About the speakers:

Mindaugas Petrutis (ex-InVision, ex-On Deck) is the co-founder of Coho, leading peer group focused community for data science, design, engineering, and more. He founded On Deck’s Design Fellowship and was the Head of EMEA Community at InVision. He loves building relationships, connecting the dots between humans, systems, and problems and simplifying complex ideas. Mindaugas is currently based somewhere in Portugal 🇵🇹 with his rescue dogs, Rina and Mya.

Jane Austin builds products for humans, that solve real problems, where experience is a differentiator, and ideally at organisations at an inflection point, whether that is a new phase of growth, having just closed a round of VC or PE funding, or going through a digital transformation. She is also the founder of health tech startup Laurel to support people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and the therapists treating them. They are working on their MVP right now - if you have OCD and want to know more, reach out to Jane!

David Coallier is a co-Founder at Clearword. He's a technologist, an avid learner, an angel investor, a startup advisor, and a serial entrepreneur that likes to share stories about his successes, acquisitions, exits, choices, and failures. With 3.5 exits and a few failures, he has amassed a tremendous amount of experience in running lean startups, raising funds, developing business strategies, and understanding the importance of focus and self-constrain when bootstrapping and developing a brand new product.

Jess Ingrassellino, EdD, is a leader in the software and education industries and founded her own education company Anleiten. While her background is teaching and education (EdD, 2015, Columbia University, Music Education/Assessment), Jess has pivoted into a career in technology leadership, working as an engineering manager focused on community, collaboration, and improvisational practices for enriching professional life.
