Speaker Bio:
Arpit has been an active venture investor in the Indian market since 2015. Before joining Jungle, Arpit led India investments for Shunwei Capital, a Beijing-based VC fund. In his role, Arpit’s focus areas included e-commerce, consumer marketplaces, content platforms, and consumer brands.
Prior to Shunwei, Arpit spent two years at SAIF Partners, where he focused on social networking and consumer transaction portals. Earlier in his career, he was the Head of Sales at Housing.com, an internet real-estate portal.
Arpit is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and holds an MBA from INSEAD. At Jungle Ventures, he focuses on investments in the Indian market.
