Happy St Patrick's Day! St Patrick's Day is right around the corner and if you want to celebrate, come meet up with us at Mission Dolores. Fake Patty's Day is our form of celebration that takes place on a Saturday before St. Patrick's Day
I would host this on March 15 but there is going to be the annual SF St Patrick's Day Bar Crawl during the day.
Rules:
Bring some food to share with new friends
Wear Green
No talking about tech or work
No pitching your startup
Say hi to at least 3 people (more of a suggestion)
No connecting on Linkedin. Other social medias and phone numbers are OK!

Tired of going to networking events and meeting hundreds of people, but not actually...making friends? Tech is such an extroverted industry, but so many people still feel lonely.
This is a park meetup for people in tech (or not in tech!) who want to make an actual friend and meet people with no strings attached (i.e. pitching your startup to everyone that says hi to you).
Meeting people with no agenda is hard for just about everyone (unless you're an extreme extrovert), so we'll have some games and activities to facilitate conversation.
What to bring:
Picnic blanket or lawn chair
Alcoholic drinks (wine, beer, seltzers)
Non-alcoholic beer/drinks
Your fav
snack to contribute to snack table (popcorn, chips, soda, whatever)
Paper plates, napkins, forks, paper towels
Frisbee, spikeball, football, etc. (we'll have stuff, too)
Please message the host if you have a picnic table or a speaker you can bring :)
Willingness to get out of your comfort zone!!!
