DipWSET Tasting Workshop

​Monthly (2nd Monday of each month - except this one!) tasting session for current DipWSET students and those who hold it. Whether you’re just starting D1, revising for D3 or working toward MW, this is a great way to get together with other students & peers and enjoy some great tastings.

​Format will (loosely) mirror the D3 exam format; three wines from the same or predominantly the same grape, three from the same country, three from the same region and three unrelated, with a focus on drawing conclusions on the wines, explaining the rationale behind your identification of the region, country, grape, quality etc. Some guidance will be available (subject to availability of willing 'tutors') from current DipWSET holders and/or specialists in the region/style etc.

​Tickets are £5 to go toward the cost of pre-ordering wines and discourage no-shows. All the wines will be at trade prices, no markup, and we’ll curate a selection each month to make a theme and ensure excellent value. You might be asked for a few extra quid on the day to make up the costs but you’ll only be paying for your own tasters, for the measures poured, and at trade - unused wine in the bottles will go on our specials list so you aren’t paying for what we aren’t pouring.
