Crypto 102: Bitcoin Protocol, Ethereum, Altcoins, Smart Contracts

​This course builds on a semester long course that I teach at the Slovak University of Technology. And it gives a holistic view of the history in which cryptocurrencies were created.

It goes through the foundational building blocks that led to the emergence of Bitcoin. And it explains the basics of the Bitcoin protocol, mining, consensus algorithms, Ethereum, smart contracts, differences between altcoins, introduces DeFi, what it is, how it works, what are the major protocols, and how to use them.
