✨ [ABOUT THE PRESENTER] ✨
Ashley Francis is a Trauma-Informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Haven Room Therapy Services, a solo private practice specializing in reproductive and perinatal mental health. With over a decade of experience, Ashley provides compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, and hormonal transitions. Her approach is rooted in understanding the impact of trauma on mental health, particularly during times of reproductive change and identity shift. In addition to her private practice, Ashley works full-time in the maternity care field with her local Veterans Affairs (VA) health system, offering specialized mental health services to pregnant and postpartum veterans.
Ashley incorporates Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for Reproductive Mental Health and facilitates the ROSE (Reach Out, Stay Strong, Essentials) program, an evidence-based intervention designed to prevent postpartum depression in individuals at risk. Her clinical focus includes pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), infertility, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, perimenopause, and identity transitions in parenthood.
Originally from Los Angeles, Ashley is currently based in Florida and holds licensure in Virginia, California, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, and Florida. Her style is warm, relational, and deeply client-centered, providing a safe space for clients to process their experiences and access meaningful healing. At Haven Room Therapy Services, Ashley is committed to supporting clients through the emotional complexities of reproductive health with empathy, clinical expertise, and a trauma-informed lens.
