YU & Friends Monthly Event: Cape Town Chapter
Join us for our next YU & Friends monthly gathering in Cape Town! This month, we’re diving into the City’s new CBD Mobility & Access Plan — what it means, what’s great, what’s missing, and how we as a community can help shape it.
It’ll still be a relaxed and friendly meetup — a chance to catch up, share stories, and chat openly about our work and ideas in the built environment. But this time, we’re putting the spotlight on the future of Cape Town’s streets.
We’ll also be sharing a short update on our first-ever Chairperson’s Report, reflecting on what Young Urbanists achieved in 2024 — and where we’re headed next.
Whether you’re fired up about public transport, curious about the new road types, or just want to understand what this all means for small businesses, traders, and daily life in the city, this is the space to talk, listen, and connect.
Hosted by Young Urbanists at Church House, this informal session is about building community, sharing honest feedback, and getting excited about what’s possible.
Bring your friends, thoughts, your questions, and your favourite “what if we…” idea. See you there!
