Welcome to "Communication Style Workshop: How to Improve Your Nonprofit’s Internal Communication w/ Keela".
Effective communication is key to success in any organization, but it can be particularly challenging in the nonprofit sector, where diverse teams and stakeholders often have competing priorities and perspectives. In this workshop, we'll help you identify your communication style and understand how to adapt it to work better with others, building more effective relationships with colleagues, donors, and board members. Plus, we'll introduce you to Instrumentl, a powerful tool for finding, tracking, and managing grants in one convenient place.
In this 1-hour webinar with Keela, attendees will learn:
What your communication style, strengths and blindspots are
How to adjust your communication style to work better with people of different styles
How to build more effective relationships with your colleagues, donors, board of directors, and more
Discover how Instrumentl saves you time and money in finding, tracking and managing your grants all in one place
All registrants will receive a recording and copy of the presentation slides after the workshop. Instrumentl is also offering every live attendee personalized grant recommendations for their nonprofit.
NOTE: Instrumentl helps US-based 501c3s with at least a 90K operating budget, or consultants supporting such clients. If you are based internationally, you must have a US-affiliated chapter and 501c3 status to find this workshop helpful.
About Keela
Keela is an impact technology company committed to building specialized solutions for the nonprofit sector. We believe that productive tools should be accessible and affordable, especially for those working for the greater good.
About Kimberly Hornaday
A people-person who thrives in interpersonal environments. Graduating from UBC with a dual focus in Philosophy and Literature, I am passionate about improving my ability to apply critical thinking to my work, and how that can translate into a positive focus on human interactions and maintaining perspective in my day-to-day.
I am hyper-organized and always looking for a challenge. In particular, I am drawn to work that supports a positive contribution to the charitable sector, and I truly believe in each individuals power to make a difference.
Here at Keela, I am working to foster better relationships with nonprofit experts and consultants in the sector. I work with over 100 partners worldwide, through content collaborations, referrals, or even events, and I'm excited to discover more ways that we can work together to strengthen the nonprofit community.
Before Vancouver, I have lived in Calgary, Indonesia and Australia, and I love to travel. That being said, most of the time you'll find me reading a book at the dog beach with my 2 puppies, or re-watching the Lord of the Rings for the 800th time. I love musical theatre, and spending my time dancing at Harbour Dance Center with my amazing directors and friends.
Join us to learn valuable skills and strategies that will help you communicate more effectively and achieve your nonprofit's goals.
