We will highlight common mistakes that can give a false sense of understanding and introduce practical tools to improve retention and mastery.
In this session we will:
Analyse common learning traps that hinder retention and evaluate their impact on long-term knowledge retention.
Apply evidence-based strategies such as retrieval practice, spaced repetition, and interleaving to enhance learning efficiency.
Assess your own understanding by identifying knowledge gaps and implementing strategies to avoid overestimating what you know.
Evaluate and integrate tools that improve study effectiveness and optimise time management for deeper learning.
Expect an engaging session filled with practical insights, real-life examples, and interactive discussions.
