12:00 PM – Kickoff: Black Founder Q&A with Brian Mac Mahon We’ll kick off with an intimate Q&A session led by Brian Mac Mahon, founder of Expert DOJO, where he’ll answer your questions on scaling your unicorn in the U.S. Brian will review your messaging and value proposition to help you grow effectively and raise funds from a position of strength. This session is not open to the public.
1:30 PM – Black Founders Roundtable (Private Session) Expert DOJO are experts in growth hacking so we want to not only share investment professionals but also experts who can help you grow your business. During this period you will meet 6 growth hackers over a 90 minute period to help you look at how to scale your business to the max. This session is not open to the public.
3:00 PM – Black Tech Express Investor Pitch/Meetup (Private Session) An exclusive investor meetup where 6 entrepreneurs will engage in either a round-robin session with 6 investors or participate in a ‘lightning pitch’ format. This high-energy session is designed to provide critical feedback, forge new connections, and create opportunities for entrepreneurs to accelerate their ventures. This session is not open to the public.
4:45 PM – LA Tech Week – Black in Tech Reception (Open to the Public) To cap off the day, Expert Dojo, The Consulate, and other partners invite you to a special reception celebrating the Black startup community in Los Angeles. Mingle with 100-120 key stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and investors while enjoying refreshments and conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. This session is open to all attendees.
