About Event

Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session with our instructor, Zariah. This one-hour class offers a harmonious blend of slow flow, deep stretch, and restorative yoga. Zariah's inclusive and accessible approach ensures that individuals of all ages, body types, and abilities feel welcome and supported.

Drawing from her personal journey and background in DEI and trauma-informed care, Zariah creates a safe, nurturing environment where you can find peace and balance. Through gentle movements and mindful breathwork, you’ll be guided into a state of relaxation and meditation, allowing you to fully connect with yourself.

This session focuses on non-performative, ground-level postures with no standing poses. Props are encouraged to enhance your practice and comfort. Feel free to bring yoga blocks, a bolster, blankets, or a strap (household items like thick books, large pillows, and belts work too).

Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, Zariah invites you to come as you are, embrace your agency, and honor your body’s needs. Experience the transformative power of yoga in a space designed for healing and growth.

Meet your instructor: Zariah (she/her), a certified yoga instructor, discovered yoga as a lifeline during her struggles with mental health and disabilities. Inspired by her teachers, she now dedicates herself to being a source of solace and support for others. With a focus on restorative practices, Zariah guides you toward a restful and meditative state, helping you find your center and peace.
